Fathers Day & July 4th

Last year for my first Father's Day we went to the Scarsdale Car Show (check blog archives), and the the 4th of July we participated in the Darien Push-Pull Parade (also, check the archives).

A year has passed, Jacob is doing great, and we are much more low key in celebrating these two holidays due to Jessica's recovery from her broken foot. However, I wanted to post a few pictures of our celebrations this year:

I have the most beautiful wife and son in the world:

At Day Care, they had a special event in the afternoon for all the Dads. I went to visit Jacob, eat some cake and ice cream, and received a beautiful shirt from Jacob and the wonderful ladies who watch him at Day Care. Here are some pictures from this special event:

Jacob sure loves eating cookies:

A true party starter, soon Jacob will be helping me at the grill:

Jacob is walking everywhere these days. Here's a picture of him playing in his diaper one night, walking around like a big boy:

Finally, this year at Day Care they had a fantastic July 4th parade. With some help, Jacob painted an American flag on a onesie, and we had a great time celebrating America's birthday:

Always walking:

Happy Independence Day from the Goldens!
