Xmas 2008

This Christmas holiday was one filled with milestones. Jacob is sitting up on his own and couldn't even do that a month ago! He is also trying to figure out how to move around and loves to roll over.

We spent the Christmas holiday in South Carolina at grandma's house, and he even met his great-grandparents, Ratty and Papa, for the first time. He also spent some quality time with his Aunties and enjoyed opening lots of presents.

He has really taken off with solid foods (showing off for grandma) and has started eating finger foods (Cheerios). We are now able to put him in a high chair when we go out to restaurants and are getting a bigger car seat for him.

The year 2008 was the best one on record thanks to our little one.

There was one in the bed, and the little one said "Roll Over! Roll Over"

Jacob has learned an important new trick this week:

He can now roll over from his tummy to his back. Previously, he would roll from his back, to his side, to his tummy. He would struggle and get upset that he was stuck, but these days are now history.

Attached are two videos of Jacob and his new trick, taken on Tuesday night. These videos are the first time I have seen him do this; after the first time he rolled over, I grabbed the camera and started shooting.

I hope you enjoy these videos.

Playing with Blocks

Jacob is growing up so quickly. He's getting much better at sitting up on his own, becoming much more independent. While he cannot sit up without supervision, I shot some videos of him sitting up on his own, playing with some blocks.

These are some of the best videos I have shot of my wonderful son. Hope you enjoy!
